… And I’m here to tell you that creating a curated home that looks designer doesn’t have to be “out of the budget”! In fact the room I designed that went viral and launched my instagram growth cost only $500 total!! I love combining my passions of interiors & bargain hunting to help you design a home that’s both beautiful & budget-friendly. My philosophy involves blending a few “reasonable splurges” with amazing bargain finds to achieve a high end look you’ll love!

Ever since I was a young girl I’ve been a bargain hunter, just like my Dad! He taught me that price isn’t necessarily and indicator of value & quality and that you can find great products at many different stores, which is why I like to scour the internet to bring you finds from a multitude of sources!

I was just 12 years old when I decided I wanted to be an interior designer! My mom let me paint murals on the walls of my room & bathroom as well as selecting the affordable furniture and decor for my room. I’m so glad my parents let me express my creativity at a young age and develop skills that I still use in my life today!

I’m a big believer that the spaces we live in matter more than we know! Our homes are one of the best places we can possibly invest because they’re where we spend most of our time. They’re the spaces we get to relax in, spend time with our families in, find peace & solace from an ever-changing world in. For me living in a home that is a reflection of me and my family brings me joy & comfort. This is why I want to help you create a space that feels inspired and intentional, too. These kinds of spaces can truly help us thrive in life.

My own home (which I coined #EuropeanOrganicModern and sums up my unique design aesthetic) is the 3rd home my husband Ben and I have designed/built together alongside my contractor brother-in-law, Spencer of Clearstone Builders. Ben and I have 4 busy & energetic children who keep life exciting as we take on home projects & our newest endeavor a YouTube channel to share our tips on getting the best bang for your buck when building a home, styling tips & product reviews! How long have you been designing homes?

I started on my first new build project before I’d even finished college back in 2008! I’ve been involved with design & construction in some form or another ever since!

Are you accepting New Clients?

Currently I am booked and not able to take on new client projects, but I do share design inspiration boards periodically on my blog to help give you ideas for your home. I also will post my recent client projects and include sources as well!

What kind of spaces are your favorite to design?

Really a little of everything, but I absolutely love designing kitchens since blending form & function is one of my specialties! I also have a love for children’s spaces since they can be more whimsical & playful!

How often do you post new projects?

I try to post to my blog at least once a week, but sometimes more! Often I share my favorite products, rooms I’ve been decorating in my own home, client home reveals and even ideas for seasonal decor!

Where do you like to shop for home decor & furniture?

Honestly everywhere! I think you can find awesome products at many different places (even the unexpected ones!) and there are always deals to be had. I just love a good bargain!
